Aisha Association for Women and Child Protection is an independent, non-profit Palestinian organization that works to protect and empower women, children, and adolescents, promote mental health and psychosocial support, and mainstream protection and gender justice approaches across all its programs.

Aisha Association is seeking to recruit a competent and highly qualified Meal Assistant 

Number of Positions: 1

Location: Aisha Association offices in Gaza City or Deir Al-Balah, with regular travel to all project implementation sites

Reporting to: Meal Assistant will submit reports to Meal manager and the partner organization.

 

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.

 

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in MEAL/M&E roles.
  • Proven experience working on humanitarian or development projects funded by donors.
  • Solid experience in field data collection and database management.
  • Experience in preparing analytical and results-based reports.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of project-level MEAL plans in alignment with program objectives and donor requirements.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative data collection using standardized methodologies.
  • Ensure data quality through verification, validation, and cleaning processes.
  • Contribute to the design and updating of data collection tools (questionnaires, KII, FGD guides, and monitoring forms).
  • Prepare regular reports on indicators, outputs, and outcomes.
  • Track and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with results frameworks.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Feedback and Complaint Response Mechanisms (FCRM).
  • Assist in documenting lessons learned and best practices for organizational learning.
  • Support internal and external evaluations when required.

Required Competencies and Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Data Cleaning, Data Analysis).
  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools (SPSS and/or Power BI and/or Kobo/ODK).
  • Strong understanding of MEAL systems, Logical Framework (Logframe), and Theory of Change.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • High level of accuracy in handling data and ensuring quality standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Commitment to accountability, transparency, and ethical standards

Special Conditions:

  • The position is open to both females and males.
  • Full-time availability throughout the contract period is required.
  • The employee is responsible for commuting to work locations; the Association does not provide transportation.
  • Commitment to the Association’s internal policies and Code of Conduct is mandatory.
