Aisha Association concludes training for female specialists and psycho-social support and case ‎management specialists

Aisha Association for the Protection of Women and Children carried out a set of trainings targeting female specialists and specialists working in the field of psychological support and case management from the project's partner associations distributed over the governorates of the Gaza Strip, with 20 training hours over a period of three days.

The training dealt with important topics related to providing remote services in light of the Corona pandemic, ethical standards for managing cases of women victims of violence, in addition to standards for confidentiality, informed consent and the right to choose, in addition to standards for information preservation and security policy and procedures for each, protection from abuse and sexual exploitation, and safety and security of survivors from Gender-based violence.

Through these trainings, the association aims to develop the capabilities and skills of specialists  in dealing with cases of women victims of gender-based violence and affected by the Great Return Marches.

This comes as part of a project to protect and enhance the capacities of women and girls affected by the Great Return Marches in the Gaza Strip, in partnership with UN Women and funded by the Japanese people.
